Become a Master Gardener

Become a Master Gardener:

Do you love gardening, landscaping or just have a general plant obsession? Would you like to take your education to the next level, serve our local community, and join a nationwide group of plant enthusiasts?!?  We would love to have you!

Requirements: You must-

1. Pass a criminal background check

2. Complete the master gardener class. This class is offered once a year, through the Clemson University Extension office. The class is taught by horticulturalist from across the state. 3 hours per class, one class per week, for 10 weeks. (you must physically attend a minimum of 8 classes)

3. Pass the Master Gardener Exam 

4. Volunteer a minimum of 40 hours providing educational services within the first year after passing your exam.
